Review:
Story: Out of the four books, this one actually hit me the hardest. It also stood out the most in my opinion. There are parts that I kind of felt like didn’t get drawn out as much as the first three books. I don’t know what it is. I can’t quite put my fingers on it. It’s just different. I have been so into this series for so long. It seems like this might be the last book in the series. It was released three years ago. There is hope that the series might just be on a delay due to the pandemic. We will see. I really hope there is more in the series. I really love this series and getting to know the girls and all the FBI agents.
Characters: Sterling is in the main character of this book. Which I was so happy about. I’ve been so curious about her. She’s just so sassy that I really wanted to see more of her. We also got to see Eddison’s point of view. I’m beginning to think that might be what’s different. I don’t remember us having the unsub’s point of view in this book.
Critiques: Nothing that’s an actual problem with the book. I have some personal issues because there’s no more in this series to read. That’s just me though.
Narration: The narrator is completely amazing. I believe she did the rest of the series as well. I can’t be too sure. Either way, I completely loved the narration.
Final Thoughts: While this book felt different to me than the rest of the series, I really enjoyed it very much. Especially getting to know Eddison and Sterling a little better. There were some scenes that I really wish I could have gotten to see more. This is just a me thing though. It isn’t really something wrong with the book itself. I really need somebody to talk to about these books with!!!!
