This is one of those rare books that has had my attention from the very first sentence. I will admit that I’m not very far into the book, but I know I’ll love it. Usually it takes me several rereads of a book to fully get into it. Some less than others. Not that there’s anything wrong with the book itself. It’s just that I get easily distracted (ADHD) and I have to figure out where I was again. I think it’s why I like series better than standalones. Either way, I’m excited about this book!
