Sundays in Bed With… Confessor

Hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

I both love and hate this series. This is the last book in this part of the series. It’s the last of the Imperial Order. I’m so glad to be over this phase of the series. I’m kind of curious to see what happens to the rest of the series. Technically it’s not considered part of this series. I am choosing to read the rest of them anyway. It’s a really dark fantasy. Goodkind gives Martin a run for his money. A very good one.

Sundays in Bed With… Long Bright River

I’m about a hundred pages into this book. It’s for our library’s book club meeting. I need to finish the book a week from tomorrow. Luckily, it’s a pretty amazing read so far. I hardly want to put it down. I really love the way it’s formatted. There are times that I feel the pace is too slow, but that’s just because I’m really impatient.

Sundays in Bed With… The Beautiful Struggle

Hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

I started reading this book awhile back. About a week ago. I’m not sure. I get more time to listen to audiobooks than I do to read. Either way, this has been a really amazing book so far. I’m glad I found it. If I had put more effort in it, I probably would have had this entire book read in one sitting. Probably in less than an hour. It deserves to be enjoyed though.

Sundays in Bed With… 1st to Die

Hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

I’ve been chipping away at this book for awhile. I have dubbed it my emergency book. I leave it in my purse. The only downfall of that is that sometimes the bookmark falls out of it while it’s in the purse and I have to find my place again. I should have a solution for that soon. Right now they are still investigating the first couple’s murder. I’ve read this book a couple of times. It’s a really good book. It’s a good series. I can’t wait to reread the rest of them and read the ones I haven’t read for the first time.

Sundays in Bed With… Unsheltered

Hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

This is this month’s book club read. I’m very far behind and am only just now getting to it. Luckily, I have it in audiobook and am able to read it as I do other things that I have fallen behind on as well. It’s a pretty decent book so far. I won’t lie. It’s not something that I would pick on my own, but I digress. This author is so talented!

Sundays in Bed With… Rules for Vanishing

Hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

I’ve been reading this book for a few days now. I haven’t really committed to any more than a couple of chapters a day since I started it. I really enjoy it though. I love the formatting of the book. I would love to see this as a movie, but only if they set it up the way it’s set up in the book. I’ve been so impressed with this book that I went ahead and bought two other books by this author! If that tells you anything. I can’t wait to keep reading through the book.

Sundays in Bed With… Chainfire… Again

Hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

For those of you who follow my blog closely, you’ll know that I was also reading this book last Sunday. The truth is I haven’t really read a lot lately. I’ve been wanting to be supportive of my community by reading LGBTQIA+ books. I’ve also wanted to immerse myself in horror and thriller novels. I’ve been trying to find a way to make both work. I think my reading will pick up drastically if I can find a way. It’s just really hard to find out if a book meets both. I’ve asked for recommendations, but I really haven’t gotten anybody who help with suggestions. I’m sure that this is mostly because I haven’t given it enough time or asked in the right places. Anyway, hoping to have a better report next month.

I can’t believe I’m nearing the end of this series. I’ve been listening to the series for months now. Two chapters a day with my mom. Those who think that A Song of Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones) is intense don’t know the intensity of this series. I fully recommend everybody give this book a chance.

This has been a really hilarious book so far! I picked it up because I have an audio version of it for a tour and because the e-book of it was free. It’s still free by the way if anybody is interested. Just click on the graphic! I can’t wait to read the rest and dig into the rest of the series.

I’ve listened to the audiobook. I’ve watched the entire first season of the show. I figured it’s about time that I get around to actually reading the graphic novels. They aren’t bad so far! I’m really enjoying them. I know certain people in my life who I will not be recommending this series too, though. It’s way too dark for that.
