My Reading Stats: June 5th

Lately, I haven’t read as much as I’d like. I’m reading every day still, but just barely on some days. I have still been keeping track. I am hoping that sharing my progress on here will be helpful. We shall see. I will make it from Sunday to Saturday.

Note: Some ebooks I have don’t have page numbers so I measure it by % instead. It gets a little tricky with daily page counting, but it works in the end.

Sunday:

Rise of Riverstone: 401-404
War Storm: 322-391

Monday:

War Storm: 392-430
Rise of Riverstone: 405-590

Tuesday:

Royal Spy: 1%-9%

Wednesday:

Royal Spy: 10%-18%

Thursday:

War Storm: 431-538

Friday:

War Storm: 539-662
Royal Spy: 19%-31%

Saturday:

Royal Spy: 32%-35%

What I hope to read this week:

  1. Royal Spy by Heather Frost
  2. Into the Violet Gardens by Isaac Nasri
  3. Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber
  4. Home Field Advantage by Dahlia Adler
  5. Nightcrawling by Lelie Mottley
  6. The Gate Keeper by James Byrne
  7. Scorpion’s Dance by Jefferson Morley
  8. Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey

I’d like to try to read at least a hundred pages a day, but I know that there will be days I won’t do that. I am going to at least make it a point to read at least a chapter a day. I love my job, but sometimes the back-to-back calls for the entire shift is mentally draining. It makes wanting to read really hard. I’ve found myself watching more television than I have reading when I’m not working. I’m just thankful that I’m not having major anxiety over that anymore!

Tell me about your reading these days!

Weekly Wrap Up: 4/10/21

Welcome to Weekly Wrap Up. I will discuss how my week has gone. I will include any pictures I’ve taken for the week and my progress in reading. It won’t be all about books. Just my week in general. I will also highlight my five favorite blogs I’ve read during the week.

This has been a really great week. My reading rut is gone. I went from not finishing any books to getting five finished in a few weeks. It really does make me feel good. I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to get out of the funk that I was in.

I’m also finally able to come up with a schedule that fully works for me. I spent a good part of the week catching up on some things I’m behind on. It’s a great feeling to not feel bogged down on things you’re behind on. I can’t tell you how relieved I feel.

Looking forward to another great week!

First Weekly Wrap Up

Welcome to Weekly Wrap Up. I will discuss how my week has gone. I will include any pictures I’ve taken for the week and my progress in reading. It won’t be all about books. Just my week in general. I will also highligt my five favorite blogs I’ve read during the week.

This week has gone amazingly for me. I started production at work. I’ve gotten back into reading. I’ve finished two book so far! It’s a huge feat for me right now.

I’ve rearranged some blog posts this week. I’ve also rearranged my schedule outside of work too. For those of you who don’t know, I now host two meetings a week on Goodreads. If you all would like to join, let me know. I’ll start including the links into the blog.

Starting next week, I’ll highlight five of my favorite blogs on this weekly blog. It’s something I am really excited about doing. I don’t read as many blogs as I probably should. I’ve been working on changing that lately. If you aren’t following the person I spotlight, I strongly encourage you to follow them! They will be just as amazing as the blog post I was enamored with!

Writing PROMPTS: Donating Time Or Money

Do you prefer to donate time or money to those in need? Why?

I guess I would have to say time more than money, but I would ultimately go with both. Yes, money in most of these cases is very important, but time is just as important as well. Sometimes it’s its more important to see compassion in the decision the person has made than the monetary value they can or can’t provide. In the end, I would still prefer to do both. Especially if it involved children and animals. I am very compassionate. I wish I could take the pain and suffering from everybody.

Weekly Wrap Up 3/15/20

It’s been an insane week. Not only for myself and my family. The world seems to have been going through a lot. We went to stock up on dog food the other day so we can stay at home and prep for training. We start the 20th. We are both so excited! This week will be spent reading and getting ahead of schedule to the best of my ability. Only time I’ll be getting on computer will be to check email and schedule blogs. It will be so worth it!

One of my favorite things of being a part of the blogger community is reading and being in awe of all the amazing blogs I’m blessed to come across. I have the App installed on my phone and get push notifications for most of the blogs I follow. I discover new books. I discover new recipes. I discover that I’m not alone. I’m not a freak of nature like I seem to think I am. But I digress. I read tons of great blogs. So every week, I’m going to showcase five of them. I wish I could do more, but if I posted every blog I think was awesome, I’d overwhelm some! I hope that through this, many people are able to connect with the bloggers that I adore so much, and they are able to connect back.
