I was so hesitant to post this blog. I was like this is the third week I’ve been a slacker. And then I went to pull the books I finished and found that I had finished four books. FOUR! Self-doubt, man. It’s a dangerous thing. Now if I can just focus and get all these reviews written!!!!
Another light week. I can’t complain too much. I managed to maintain my daily goals for the most part. Well I did my best anyway. Next week will be better!
I can’t say this was a bad week really. I also can’t say it was a great week either. At least reading wise. I actually had a pretty wonderful week. I’ve gotten to experience some wonderful things. I’ll even be going to see an early release movie tomorrow! I basically wound up watching more television than reading this week. Normally I’d beat myself up over it, but I think I needed to get my mind off things.
I had a pretty successful week in my opinion. I can’t wait to see how much further I get next week. I know that I won’t have downtime like this here soon. I’ll take advantage of it while I have it.
Lately, I haven’t read as much as I’d like. I’m reading every day still, but just barely on some days. I have still been keeping track. I am hoping that sharing my progress on here will be helpful. We shall see. I will make it from Sunday to Saturday.
Note: Some ebooks I have don’t have page numbers so I measure it by % instead. It gets a little tricky with daily page counting, but it works in the end.
I’d like to try to read at least a hundred pages a day, but I know that there will be days I won’t do that. I am going to at least make it a point to read at least a chapter a day. I love my job, but sometimes the back-to-back calls for the entire shift is mentally draining. It makes wanting to read really hard. I’ve found myself watching more television than I have reading when I’m not working. I’m just thankful that I’m not having major anxiety over that anymore!
Last week was AYearathon. It took place from April 11th to April 17th. The theme was Go Green. Read ebooks and audiobooks. I actually did well with that. I didn’t pick up a single physical copy for the entire week. I had ebook and audiobook options for every book I read.

I know this is a bit late. Don’t judge me. I have had a busy few days. I’ll start off with my top ten books. Please note that these are in no particular order. It was also very hard to choose just ten. I read so many great books in 2019.
The page numbers for some book aren’t accurate but I still did awesome!
Book Stats from 2013-2019:
I plan to try to read 150 books in 2020. I had an amazing reading year in 2019. I hope you all did too. Here’s to another great year and another great decade! Blessed be!
