I’ve been reading a lot lately. The fact that I lost any weight at all is a pleasant surprise to me. Would I have liked to have lost more? Of course. However, I realize that I need to work more at it to get more lost. I plan to. I just have a lot going on at the moment. At least I’m making healthier choices. All progress is great progress no matter how small!

Honestly, I’m happy with my progress. Especially since I’ve done barely anything to deserve it. I’m trying to get better. I have just decided that rather than put myself in a spiral by changing everything at once that I would change something small. My plan is to adjust to the change and then add another thing. I’ll repeat the process until all my decisions are what’s best for me. I’m also playing trial and error with some things as well.

I’m so happy to have lost almost two pounds this week. I know this isn’t really a lot of weight lost. However, I’ve been in a major funk since I’ve returned home. This is the first time I’ve actually lost some weight. It’s a big deal to me. Especially since I still haven’t started a workout routine. I still need to find a way to make that work. I know I’ll make something work. I have complete faith.

I can’t say I’m surprised by my weight gain. I really haven’t done anything at all. I can’t even really tell you much about what I did during the week. It flew by so fast. I’ll try my best to get better at this. My goal is to try to exercise every day. I have some dancing and boxing games on my Switch that I can use. Hoping to start doing that soon.

I’m disappointed by my weight gain, but I really haven’t done much of anything this week. I really need to get back into routine and start working out again. I’m getting there though. So there’s that. Other than being disappointed in myself, I really have nothing else to report.

Being that I haven’t even bothered to do anything I say I was going to do and I wasn’t exactly careful with what I’ve been eating, I find that I did pretty well all things considering. I need to start getting more strict on my workout and eating routines. I have no excuse. I have plenty of resources I can utilize. I plan to start using them.

I didn’t lose a lot of weight, but I lost more than I thought I would. My eating and exercise habits have been not the greatest. I’ve been more focused on getting everything ready for the convention I’m going to be attending. This will be my last post for this segment until August 17th. I’ll post my activity from between now and then on that blog. I’m also going to include steps. I have a app that helps me keep track of steps that I plan to use. Because of this, I’ve added a new goal to my overall goals. I don’t really walk around as much as I should, so I’m making my current goal 5,000 steps a day. Once I can do that with no effort, I plan to increase it to 10,000 steps a day.

I’ve really done a horrible job with keeping this updated. I’ve also not really done a great job at keeping up with my goals. I’ve had too many days where I chose what is easier over doing the right thing. That stops now. I am going to do better with this. I’ll be posting every week. Even if I don’t have great results. Losing my job has taken a toll on me. During work, I would use my desk elliptical frequently during the day. I’ll have to find a way to use it even though I’m not working. I’ll also need to find a way to make sure I’m more active every day as well. I have some dance games on my Switch. I’m hoping to try to at do them every other day. I’d prefer every day, but baby steps. I know this is a minor set back. I’ll get back on track. I have faith!
