A Fresh Start: Overcoming it All and Starting Over

I’m going to get better at holding myself accountable with my blogs, my reading, and so many other things. I’ve tweaked some things and would like to announce them here. One of the things I’m going to to do help with this is learn how to write on my iPad so that I have things to post even on the days where I’m on the go.

I haven’t really been in a good place in a long time. I’m working on getting better. Some days are good. Some days are not. Some days I don’t have time to sit and breathe. Some days I sit and do nothing at all.

Thank you all for continuing to believe in me. Even when I don’t believe in myself. Welcome to my new followers. I hope that this blog continues to be a joy for you to read.

There’s a lot on the list. I don’t plan to finish all of the books. I do plan to make progress in them. I also can’t even start some of the books until I finish others. So there’s that. I’ve already started most of these and I’m really enjoying them.

Potential Upcoming Plans

I’ve decided to get back into a routine with this blog. I think I’ve taken enough of a break. I’ve also tackled my mental health as well. I’m doing what I can to take care of myself.

So I have an upcoming plan.

Weekly Blog Plans:

Monday- Weekly Reading Plans- Will discuss the books I plan to read during the day.

Tuesday- Featured Book- Will discuss a book I’m enjoying currently.

Wednesday- Featured Show/Movie- I’ve been watching more television lately. So I’ll either talk about a show I’m enjoying or about the shows I’ve watched through the week.

Thursday- Audiobook Obsession- Will discuss an audiobook I’m really enjoying at the moment.

Friday- Freebie Friday- Whatever I’m passionate about discussing. Book related or not.

Saturday- Reading Updates- Will update how my reading went for the week.

Sunday- What I’m Reading Today- I am going to be taking Sundays off the computer as much as possible. All I plan to do is read. So most of the time, this will be scheduled the day before.

Monthly Blog Plans:

1st- Montly TBR- Will showcase the books I plan to read during the month. Will also announce any readathons I plan to participate in or host.

15th- Mid-Month Check In- Will discuss my reading progress for the month and how I’m doing in general.

30th/31st- Reading Wrap Up- Will display all of the books I’ve finished during the months.

Note: Some days will have more than one blog if I have a review to post or I have a promo or blog tour.

I’m excited to see where this goes! I’m not sure about scheduling blogs yet, but we will see!

Weekly Reading List: September 4th

I’m in for a full week. My training shift has changed. I go in an hour earlier. I was already having issues going in at the time I go in. I’m not exactly a morning person. I will make it through. I just have three more weeks of training! My reading schedule is pretty full too. I will be making progress on many books and hopefully finishing quite a few as well. Ideally, I’d like to finish a book a day. However, knowing that I work full time, I know that is not possible. I will still continue to try. Maybe if I keep at the pace I’ve been on lately, I’ll catch up on my reading!

Books on my reading list this week:

I’d love to see what’s on your reading list for the week! What books have you been loving lately?
