Weekly Reading Plans: November 28th

There’s a lot on the list. I don’t plan to finish all of the books. I do plan to make progress in them. I also can’t even start some of the books until I finish others. So there’s that. I’ve already started most of these and I’m really enjoying them.

Ark of the Apocalypse

Floating Underwater

Spells Trouble

The Whispering Women

Ghost Agents

Never Ever Getting Back Together

Blood Union Part One

Malibu Burns

The Urban Boys: Discovery of the Five Senses

Mine This Winter

Deep into the Dark

The Game Cafe

Ghost Agents: Revelations

The Third Instinct

Desolation Canyon

Tudors in Love

I’d love to know what you’re reading this week!

Potential Upcoming Plans

I’ve decided to get back into a routine with this blog. I think I’ve taken enough of a break. I’ve also tackled my mental health as well. I’m doing what I can to take care of myself.

So I have an upcoming plan.

Weekly Blog Plans:

Monday- Weekly Reading Plans- Will discuss the books I plan to read during the day.

Tuesday- Featured Book- Will discuss a book I’m enjoying currently.

Wednesday- Featured Show/Movie- I’ve been watching more television lately. So I’ll either talk about a show I’m enjoying or about the shows I’ve watched through the week.

Thursday- Audiobook Obsession- Will discuss an audiobook I’m really enjoying at the moment.

Friday- Freebie Friday- Whatever I’m passionate about discussing. Book related or not.

Saturday- Reading Updates- Will update how my reading went for the week.

Sunday- What I’m Reading Today- I am going to be taking Sundays off the computer as much as possible. All I plan to do is read. So most of the time, this will be scheduled the day before.

Monthly Blog Plans:

1st- Montly TBR- Will showcase the books I plan to read during the month. Will also announce any readathons I plan to participate in or host.

15th- Mid-Month Check In- Will discuss my reading progress for the month and how I’m doing in general.

30th/31st- Reading Wrap Up- Will display all of the books I’ve finished during the months.

Note: Some days will have more than one blog if I have a review to post or I have a promo or blog tour.

I’m excited to see where this goes! I’m not sure about scheduling blogs yet, but we will see!

Weekly Reading List: September 4th

I’m in for a full week. My training shift has changed. I go in an hour earlier. I was already having issues going in at the time I go in. I’m not exactly a morning person. I will make it through. I just have three more weeks of training! My reading schedule is pretty full too. I will be making progress on many books and hopefully finishing quite a few as well. Ideally, I’d like to finish a book a day. However, knowing that I work full time, I know that is not possible. I will still continue to try. Maybe if I keep at the pace I’ve been on lately, I’ll catch up on my reading!

Books on my reading list this week:

I’d love to see what’s on your reading list for the week! What books have you been loving lately?

2022 Reading Goals Recharged

So, earlier this year, I announced some of my goals for this year. Including my reading goals. I’ve been in a weird reading phase. I don’t want to say funk. I’ve had bouts where I devour books and then bouts where I barely read at all. Today, I want to add one that I added recently and revamp my goal so to speak for the year.

My reading goals are:

  1. One BOTM book every month
  2. One nonfiction book every month
  3. One LGBTQIA book every month
  4. One graphic novel every month
  5. One classic novel every month

With the way the first three months went, I’m going to alter this slightly. I’m still going to aim for one a month for each of the above. However, if I have 12 for each category by the end of the year, that’s good enough for me. I re-added graphic novels to my goal and added classic novels.

What are some of your goals for the year?

April Book Projections

  • Spells Trouble by P.C. and Kristin Cast (April 5th)
  • Omens Bite by P.C. and Kristin Cast (April 5th)
  • The Younger Wife by Sally Hepsworth (April 5th)
  • Learn to Love Yourself by Leah Gail (April 10th)
  • Car With a Soul by Ruchira Khanna (April 10th)
  • Last Dance on the Starlight Pier by Sarah Bird (April 12th)
  • This May End Badly by Samantha Markum (April 12th)
  • Myracles in the Void by Wes Dyson (April 12th)
  • Wolfe Trap by Matt Cost (April 13th)
  • Mind Trap by Matt Cost (April 13th)
  • Mouse Trap by Matt Cost (April 13th)
  • Damn Lucky by Kevin Maurer (April 19th)
  • Move Connect Play by Jason Nemer (April 19th)
  • Hooker Avenue by Jode Milman (April 19th)
  • Black Ghost of an Empire Kris Manjapra (April 19th)
  • Hush by Dylan Farrow (April 26th)
  • Veil by Dylan Farrow (April 26th)
  • Rise of Riverstone by Mandy Schimelpfenig (April 30th)

The reason for the dates is when the book is being released or when I’m doing a blog for that book. I may not get to all of these by the end of the month, but I’m going to try hard! Anybody up for a buddy read of any of these?

Weekly Reading Plans: March 28th

One of the biggest goals I have this year is to finally tackle the huge list of books I’ve accumulated over the past year. Especially the books were given to me in exchange for review. I haven’t intended to go so long without reading them. I am just really bad with time management. Hopefully, this year will help me get better with that.

Note: I realize I plan to read a lot of books every week. I’m a mood reader and I account for that by adding extras so if I’m stuck I can move on to another book. I do not think that I will get all of these during the week. There are some that will be prioritized over others for obvious reasons.

Readathons I’m participating in this week:

Seasons of Reading Readathon- April 1st-30th (Spring into Horror)
