My favorite readathon was this weekend! Sadly, I missed out on about half of it. I’m still in training at work and couldn’t ask for it off. Next time I’ll be able to request off! Either way, I did a pretty great job! I read over 400 pages in about 9 hours. I also wound up finishing three books. They were books I had made great progress on before the readathon, but I’m still very happy.

I host a readathon in my group (The Introverted Readathoner) every month. Normally, I let a tbr pick my reading. This weekend, I’m a bit behind on some deadlines. So I’m just treating it like a normal readathon instead. I’m a bit intense with 24 hour and weekend readathons. Here’s my game plan:
I know it seems intense, but I constantly alter the schedule through the weekend to work for me. It works for me honestly. Especially when my goal is 20 pages an hour.
And now for my TBR for the weekend. I don’t plan to finish all of them, but I do plan on making progress in them at least!

Last week was AYearathon. It took place from April 11th to April 17th. The theme was Go Green. Read ebooks and audiobooks. I actually did well with that. I didn’t pick up a single physical copy for the entire week. I had ebook and audiobook options for every book I read.

So this weekend was great! I participated in a Shadow Lounge Readathon! I read a total of 1,039 pages in the span of 32 hours! I call it a major sucess. I also finished four books!
This week I will be participating in the AYearathon readathon. I love week-long ones. Gives you more time to get your goals in. This month’s theam is “Go Green”. It’s basically meant to read ebooks and audiobooks. I’m very excited to do this! I’ve even made plans that will help me with the process.
I’ll have recaps for both readathons when I have more time (for the one already passed) and when the event is over! Anybody else done or doing these???
It’s the last day of March. How is this even possible? What happened to February? January?
I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t bring up readathons I’m attending in April. It’s definitely going to be action packed. I’m very excited!

Last weekend, I hosted my monthly TBR jar readathon. It went better than I expected! It also left me drained and needing a few days to recover. I should be back to normal tomorrow! I also got my equipment today for my new job that I start next Tuesday. I’m excited! Anyways, my point of this blog was to share my progress with you all! I will share my Tiktok videos and a photo of my notes through the event!
I’m so excited! I’ll be hosting our monthly readathon. I haven’t fully participated in this one in a while and I’m so excited to get back. I’d really like to see the group grow and more people join this. We don’t just do these readathons. We also post our reading progress and post about other readathons going on as well. About the TBR Jar readathon:
You put books in the jar (or hat or whatever you want). You pick from the jar. Whatever it is you pick is what you read. That’s your book until you either put it down or finish it. Then you pick again and repeat the process until the readathon is over. If you run out, you can add others! It’s a fun way to relax and read on a whim.

Note: I saw a readathon that was dated for the 26th-31st. However, when I went to pull up the info, the post was dated for 2018. I guess I could have dug a little more to see if it was an annual readathon they do. It just felt really dated to me. That’s why I chose not to include it. Most of them are held for the entire month. Some are held for two weeks. I’d suggest following the blog to keep up with their upcoming readathons.

25 Days of Manga: There’s not really much to go on, but it seems pretty straightforward. Spend the first 25 days of the month reading as much manga as you possibly can.
Merry Bookmas Readathon: The event takes place the entire month. It looks like they have their challenges posted for it on the Twitter page. It looks pretty laid back.
