I took two pictures this week in honor of the holiday. This was our tree. Please ignore the fact that there’s nothing under the tree. We all have what we need the most. Each other. Love. Family. Hope. This year was tough for us all, but we have been making it through it all. We will continue making it through. We are fighters. That’s a gift in itself.

Besides. I really love the tree. Mom picked it out. We wanted a candy cane theme this year. Every year mom tries to do a different theme. It means a lot that she let me help with the theme this year. It makes me feel like I was involved. Another beautiful gift I had this year.

This is my other weekly picture. This is the view I get to see every day. I’m in love with it. Most people would hate having train tracks behind their house. I don’t. I’ve always loved trains. I’ve loved watching them. They mesmerize me. I’ve even found them calming. I’m so blessed that my mom found this house. I feel like I could live here the rest of my life and never get tired of it. It Immediately felt like home to me.

Hope everybody is having an amazing Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate! I’d love to hear about how everybody is celebrating! I’d love to see some Christmas trees!

I know it’s not a photo of some fancy view or landscape. I really do love this photo. I got a $100 gift card for a study I participated in. I used part of it to buy this beauty you see in the photo. I’m loving it so far. I’ve had it since Saturday and have not had to charge it yet.

The sticker you see is from one of the best Audiobook groups I’m part of! It’s called Audiobook Obsession. I’ve been a member for over a year easily. They have a lovely Review Group for those who are obsessed with audiobooks like I am.

For those of you who listen to audiobooks, how often do you listen to audiobooks? I listen while browsing the web (for things I don’t have long paragraphs to read), playing games, cleaning, and working out. It’s maximized my reading so much. I’ve also met a lot of great people in the book world because of it.
