My favorite time of the week is here! WWW Wednesdays. This meme was originally hosted by A Daily Rhythm but was revived by Sam from Taking on a World of Words. It’s a place to talk about the books you’ve been reading, plan to read and have read.
To take part all you have to do is answer the following questions:
What are you currently reading? What have you recently finished reading? What are you going to read next?
While I love reading, it is not my only hobby. I realize that sometimes my love for reading outshines the rest of the hobbies I’m interested in. So, I’d like to start sharing some of my coloring projects every week. I’ll share my favorite four of the week. Typically, I’ll try to do two digital and two physical. However, I will go by the projects I’ve done for the week. If I did all digital, then all four will be digital and likewise for physical. Hope you enjoy! If you’re into coloring too, I’d love to see your projects!
Welcome to #FitReaders2021!! Felicia the Geeky Blogger and I are super excited to be co-hosting this fitness-oriented group for another year! If you have any questions about #FitReaders, you can leave them in the comment section or email me at twimom227(at)gmail(dot)com.
Most of our support is done via our Facebook Group. I will post my weekly check-in posts on Fridays, as it helps me be accountable. You are welcome to do your own check-in posts, check in below, in the comments, or check in with the Facebook group – whatever works for you!

I haven’t hit active minutes ever. I’m looking into more ways to be more active. I have bought a few games that should help with it. But we will see. I’d also like to start walking around more and getting more steps in. I’m still making great progress considering. I have a long way to go, but I’m getting there. I have 105.6 pounds to go!
Welcome to Music Monday! I’ll share a song that means a lot to me and why I am sharing it. This meme is hosted by The Tattooed Book Geek.
Disclaimer: I do not own the music I share. I found it on Spotify or Youtube. The license for these songs belongs to somebody else entirely.
This week’s pick: Garbage
Garbage is one of my favorite artists of all time. I think I got this particular love from my mother if I’m being honest. We saw Garbage in concert a few years back. I was enamored. It was the best concert I’ve ever attended in my life. To be fair though, I’ve only ever attended two concerts. Either way. I had an amazing time and didn’t want the evening to end. I hope you enjoy!
Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
Disclaimer: These Readathons are not owned or run by me. I find them by searching the month and year on Google. My main source has been Little Book Owl.
June 7th-June 13th:
This one is a little late, but Seasons of Reading is holding an entire month long readathon dedicated to Sci-Fi. It’s called the Sci-Fi Summer Readathon. It looks like there aren’t many rules. Looks like you don’t even have to have a blog to participate. They do have a hashtag you can use that’s listed in the blog describing the readathon. They also have a Slack channel that can be joined. Feel free to click on the links and check them out!
From June 6th to June 12th we have something I just found but I am super excited about hosted by queer_lit. It’s called the Queer Lit Readathon. It looks absolutely amazing. The original link I found wound up being all about last years readathons. Luckily for me, I was able to find out some information with a simple Google search. It looks like it’s very active on Instagram, but they also have a Youtube. They probably encourage the readathon on other platforms as well. Feel free to click the link I have provided for more info.
Normally, I’d post my TBR posts right here. I’ve been really struggling to read lately. So I think until I can stop forcing myself to read and actually want to read that I’ll just read on a whim. I am looking forward to picking out TBR piles for events again though. Let me know if you plan to participate in either of these readathons! Maybe we can do it together!
I have watched all of this but the last three episodes. I can’t lie. I’m really itching to watch the last three. However, I’ve been watching this show with Dustyn. I will not watch them until he and I can watch it again. It’s going to be hard. I’m kind of sad that this only went on for a season. I get why though. It’s nothing at all like the series. I did enjoy it anyways. After I stopped comparing the show to the books.
I have finished season four of this now. We are now into Post COVID episodes. I’ve only watched the first two episodes of the fifth season. I think I’m almost caught up with it. I guess this means that I need to find another show to catch up on. I’m debating between NCIS and Criminal Minds. I’m open to suggestions as well. Has anybody else watched Bull? Would love to chat about the show with somebody.
For those of you who follow my blog closely, you’ll know that I was also reading this book last Sunday. The truth is I haven’t really read a lot lately. I’ve been wanting to be supportive of my community by reading LGBTQIA+ books. I’ve also wanted to immerse myself in horror and thriller novels. I’ve been trying to find a way to make both work. I think my reading will pick up drastically if I can find a way. It’s just really hard to find out if a book meets both. I’ve asked for recommendations, but I really haven’t gotten anybody who help with suggestions. I’m sure that this is mostly because I haven’t given it enough time or asked in the right places. Anyway, hoping to have a better report next month.
