I really enjoyed this book so very much. There was just a lot to unpack in the book. That’s why I wanted to take my time with it. I read it in small increments. I fell in love with the world that was built. I fell in love with most of the characters. There were characters that I wish I could have seen more of, but I knew that the point was the story between the two leads in the book. There were times that I felt jumped a bit too much and I had to reread it to avoid confusion. This could be a me problem and not a written problem. I do have ADHD. Sometimes my mind jumps over things and I have to go back. That’s the only real “negative” I have about the book. I read another series by this author and I absolutely loved it. This book is even more intense than that series! I can’t wait to read the second book!
