This book is a prime example of why you can’t judge a book by its cover. I would have pictured something more posh than what the book is actually about. That is NOT a way for me to trash the book. I actually really enjoyed the book. When I found out that the book was based in Georgia, I was a little nervous. Most books I’ve read about my home state tend to over-exaggerate everything. With the exception of a book called Cold Sassy Tree. This book is another exception. It is also a thriller. You don’t realize it until later in the book. I’ll leave it at that. I really wasn’t expecting anything that happened in this book. I’m glad I read this book and I would love to read other books written by this author.
