This book had wonderful potential. It really did. It just didn’t really connect the way it should in my eyes. It goes from one traumatic event to another. Then a paradise of sorts. I really don’t want to delve too deeply into it. I think that this is one of those books that is best to go into as blindly as you possibly can. I did wind up listening to the audiobook. I enjoyed the narration of the narrator. Another thing I can say is that I didn’t really care for any of the characters in this book. I just didn’t connect well with them.
