When I first went to read this book, I discovered it was a book two in a series. When I went back to actually read it, it showed that it was the first in the series. So I went ahead and started reading it. It turned out that while it’s not officially a sequel, it’s still in the same world of the book that was originally shown as book one. I read the frequently asked questions at the back of the book and knew that I was okay and can go back and read the other book later. For anybody who may be interested in this book, I’d fully recommend reading the FAQ at the back of the book. The author took a lot of time to make sure all questions about these books. The world is also very unique. What if your entire life that you’ve lived happily turned out to be a lie and you aren’t who you thought you were? Fully recommend. Also I really love this cover!
