Review:
This is the second book in the series. It seems things pick up in this book. Not that it wasn’t intense in the first book. There was just a lot of buildup and worldbuilding. This book we see more of the main characters than we do the secondary characters. We also see more of the conflict and the darker characters slowly get unveiled here. There’s also more connections between this series and other series in this book. The action is more intense and often in this one as well. I’d say there is a miscommunication trope in this one, but I’m not sure that’s accurate. It’s more like the person refused to believe anything they are told. They refuse to see the light if you will. I’m looking forward to continuing this series.
Important to Note: This is the second book in the series. The Druid should be read before this book is read. I would recommend visiting the author’s website to view the book order of all the series that are connected. They do not need to be read in that order, but I think all of the books would make sense if they are.
