Review:
So, from what I’ve read, this is supposed to be like Caraval and The Night Circus. I haven’t read The Night Circus, but after reading both Caraval and this book, it will definitely be on my list. I would say the comparison to Caraval is very loose. It’s similar to an extent. I really enjoyed the book though. I’m actually really amazed that this book is a standalone. I would think that this would turn into a series. Not saying it ended badly. It just had the energy of a series in my opinion. Also really love the thought of a hotel that appears once a year and disappears after a certain time. Everybody wants to go. To attend as a guest or to work. What’s not to love? I will definitely reread.
