I was so shocked by the ending of the second book that I had to immediately find out what happened from there. This book hit differently than the first two to me. I also really loved the new points of view in this book. I feel like we get to know more people. Some characters drive me nuts. I mean I like them, but I want to smack them. If that makes sense. I also really would have loved to see more of the antagonist points of view here and there. Just to see why they did what they did. I feel that way about every fantasy novel I read though. That’s not a knock against the book. The cover of this book really made me worry! Ever have a book that drives you nuts but you can’t get enough of it and need to know what happens next? Yeah I’ve been there with this whole series.
