Review:

While I enjoyed this book, it wasn’t one of my favorites written by Annee Jones. It felt a little more scattered and rushed than the others did. I may give it another chance later down the road to see if I still feel the same. Especially since I enjoy the writing style of Jones. I feel like she wasn’t as connected to this story as she was with some of her others. I could be wrong on that. I can say that I am very happy to see a Thanksgiving special in books. I feel like I barely see those. At least not ones for just Thanksgiving. I read some that it was in there but so were many other holidays. I still recommend this book. The author has become one of my favorite authors. Her books are definitely an ultimate comfort read. Having a bad day? Get your favorite comfort food and drink and curl up to one of her books. Trust me.
