Review:
Story: Signa has been bounced around a lot since she was orphaned as a baby. Bad fortune and death seem to follow her wherever she goes. She also seems to be immune to death. This is a very gothic and dark story. It kind of reminds me of a bit more mature Series of Unfortunate Events. There were parts of this story I really loved and parts that I didn’t love as much.
Characters: Signa and Death are who we follow most, but she is constantly being passed to a different family member. Some of her family is good to her. Some are horrible to her. One of which is convinced she’s a witch who curses everybody she comes across.
Critiques: None
Narration: Really impressive. I loved following along with her narration. I also really loved her accent.
Final Thoughts: I knew I’d love this book the moment it came in with my Fairyloot box. The cover was gorgeous. I actually prefer the Fairyloot version to the actual version, but I digress. This book consumed me from the very beginning.
