Review:

Story: Six years have passed since she’s been in his class. They have gone from student teacher to colleagues. Kenni has had feelings for Xander since she was his student, but knew that she couldn’t act on her feelings. Now that she’s graduated, she’s hoping everything has changed. This one wasn’t my favorite out of the three books in this trilogy, but I did enjoy it. It was cute and quirky. It was also the shortest of the three as well. I basically read it all in one sitting.

Characters: I wanted to like Kenni. I mean she had such this strong and vivacious role in the first two books. Obviously the focus was on her sisters and not her. The first book started out with her 21st birthday though. I wasn’t expecting her to be so impulsive and difficult. I mean I didn’t hate her. Xander was an okay character. I just think there could have been more something with him. I can’t exactly explain it.

Critiques: Maybe a bit longer and some scenes defined a bit more.

Final Thoughts: While this wasn’t one of my favorites of the trilogy, I still enjoyed it very much. It’s a very cute and sweet story. Very short and easy to read. It also packs a few pretty wonderful messages that I found heartening. I recommend this entire trilogy. I kind of wish there were more to these later down the road. I mean I know they got with their partners, but can’t we read about their growing families now???
