Review:
Story: This book was one of the more playful books of the series in my opinion. I guess I shouldn’t be too shocked. It did involve Diesel. I get the feeling that Stephanie seems to be having a change of behavior. She seems to be more… I’m not sure the word for it. Serious is (ironically) too serious for it. Maybe settling down is more accurate. I was kind of shocked that Morelli didn’t have more of a role in the book. Especially since he and Stephanie seem to be together currently. I also noticed changes in Lula in this book as well.
Characters: I feel like I gave all my thoughts on the characters in the story area here.
Critiques: None
Final Thoughts: This book felt different to me. Not in a bad way. Kind of in a way that somebody had lost their way for a bit but found it. Maybe even improved upon it. I’m not saying that any of this series was bad. It just felt like it wasn’t the same as it was in the beginning. I have loved every single book in this series. I’m looking forward to the next one!
