Review:

Story: This is a novella in the Fate of Eyrinthia series. This is Vera and Venn’s story. There are parts of the series that come through in this book. But it’s from their points of view rather than the points of view that were shown in the series. I’m really glad that this story was told. I was curious on what happened between them that was referenced briefly in the series. Seeing a more serious side of Venn has been new to me. I kind of miss the more jovial side of him. I have a feeling we will be seeing that side of him again. He’s one of my favorite characters.

Characters: The main focus of this book is Vera and Venn, but I really enjoyed the children in this story. They were so adorable. I feel like they gave the series a breath of fresh air. Not that it needed it in all honesty. This is an amazing series that I just love so much. It’s one of my favorites!

Critiques: None

Final Thoughts: I’m so glad that the author decided to make this story a thing. It definitely ties a lot of pieces together. I also loved seeing both Venn and Vera’s points of view. I feel like I got to know them more. I am a bit upset though. I found that I have to wait until next year for book four! I don’t know if I can last that long! I guess this will be a good excuse for me to reread the series in order with the novellas added in before it comes out. I definitely recommend this series. It’s so good! It sucked me in from the beginning!
