Review:
Story: I’m not a fan of the cover at all. It just doesn’t really do the book itself justice. I have two different copies of this book. Two different book subscription boxes I subscribe to had them as their book of the month. I digress. I really enjoyed the story very much. If this book doesn’t become a movie or a television series, I will be very shocked. I can’t wait until the rest of the series is out. I fell in love with the world almost from the very beginning of the book!
Characters: I really enjoyed all of the characters very much. I just wish I had seen more of the secondary characters. I know that the main characters are where the focus is supposed to go. Still. There is so much to the story that I think we needed to see. Especially from somebody else’s point of view.
Critiques: Book two isn’t out yet! 😦 (Not a serious critique)
Narration: The narrator really made this book so captivating. I really enjoyed the way it was narrated so much that I almost read it all in one sitting. It’s just really amazing sitting and playing games while listening to an amazing audiobook.
Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed this book very much. I do think that there was so much potential that was missed in my opinion. This would have been lovely if told in more than one point of view. Either way I really enjoyed the book very much. I feel like I will have to reread the story when the sequel comes out though. We will see!
