Review:
Story: I am so impressed with how creative the idea behind the story is. I am really looking forward to getting to the rest of the series. I will have to go back and read this book before I do. I feel that by the time I’m able to reading them, I will need a refresher. I have to be honest though, I kind of wish I could have seen a little bit of her life before she died. Maybe a novella prequel would be very nice.
Characters: Forgive me. I can’t remember names. I really went back and forth with the main character. I liked her to an extent, but there were times that I felt like she could use a good “get it together” shake. I’d of liked to have seen more of the other characters. Especially the boy and his siblings.
Critiques: None that I can think of.
Narration: I really liked this one. I would have to give it an average rating because there’s nothing I really can point out that just puts it out. I do hope that the person who narrated this book narrates the rest of the series as well.
Final Thoughts: I never knew I needed a book like this until it fell into my lap. This was part of a challenge of reading books recommended to you. I’m so sad that I would have never known this book exists until I was recommended it. I can also say that the cover is just so gorgeous!
Times are hard. If you would consider helping me out by the links below, I’d really appreciate it.
