Review:
Story: I have to be honest, I was a little nervous about this book going into it. I was worried that I wouldn’t enjoy it nearly as much as I enjoyed the first. Most of the time when first books hit as hard as Skyward did, the rest of the series falls a bit flat. I am so thankful that I was wrong on that! I actually enjoyed this book more than I did the first if that says anything.
Characters: I was glad to see the characters actually interact better in this book than they did the first. There was a disconnect that made me very sad in the first book. I don’t know how to explain it other than that.
Critiques: None
Narration: As fantastic as the first time around. If not even better. I really hope they narrate the rest of the series as well! Just for continuity.
Final Thoughts: I’m really enjoying this very series very much. Much more than I actually thought I would in the beginning. I thought it would go a bit over my head. I’m glad I was wrong on that as well. I’m really looking forward for the rest of the series to be released so that I can grab them and read them immediately!
