Review:
Story: Full disclosure, the start and finish dates on this book may be wrong. I sometimes have a bad habit of not adding books to Goodreads when I need to, but I digress. I really enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would. I was a little nervous because I read another genre by this author before I read this. It’s very good though. I feel like there are things I didn’t understand because I live a different lifestyle, but still. I buddy read this with a few people and they seemed to enjoy it too.
Characters: I really liked the main character. She’s trying to grow comfortable in her own skin and figure out who she is after she’s been sheltered so long. She’s helped by her roommate and her roommate’s cousin. They definitely added to the story.
Critiques: None at all
Narration: Full star narration. Completely loved it.
Final Thoughts: Know how to tell how amazing an author is? They are able to write a wide variety and still be completely amazing. I feel like I get to know her a little more with every book I read. I can’t wait to read them all. It’s so shocking to me that I would have never known about her had it not been for an audiobook group that I used to belong to.
