Review:

Story: I wasn’t expecting this to be a book told in Donatella’s point of view. I expected all three books to be told in Scarlett’s point of view. I guess I could understand the reason  for this. This story is completely about Tella. It’s not nearly as all over the place as the first one was. That’s not a bad thing. I really appreciate it all.

Characters: In Caraval, I could not stand Donatella. At all. I now see that it’s not that I didn’t like her. It was all Scarlett’s point of view. She thought those things about Donatella. I think it also helps that I can see things from Donatella’s point of view as well.

Critiques: Maybe more points of view.

Narration: Beautiful!

Final Thoughts: I’m thankful that I got the chance to read a book through Donatella’s point of view. I also love how different this story played out. I guess because Donatella and Scarlett have completely different personalities. Scarlett is more withdrawn and scared. Donatella doesn’t care what people think.
