Review:
Story: I was so invested in the first book that I had to immediately dived into the second. I probably would have read all four in one sitting if I could have. It’s just such a uniquely beautiful story. It’s not something I thought I would like. I can’t lie. There are parts of it I don’t care for. I’m weird though. I find that the things that make me uncomfortable with romances are things that most people really enjoy.
Characters: Neely finds herself back home for her senior year of school. She has a falling out with her mother for her decision. She struggles to face her new life.
Critiques: None
Narration: I also give this a four-star rating. I loved the narration, but I can’t think of anything that would make it remarkable or memorable. Like the first book, the narration kept me engaged in the story. That’s good enough for me.
Final Thoughts: I still can’t understand how such a silly sappy romance book sucked me in and made me feel like I was right there with all of the characters. It’s just mind blowing to me. I’m so glad that I came across this series. I can’t even begin to explain how beautiful it is. Which is why I feel like anybody who is interested in the genre should read it for themselves.
