Review:
Story: I had an opinion about this series before I even started reading it. I decided to give it a chance anyways. Not just because I agreed to. I was also very curious. I wanted to see if I was right or wrong about my assumptions. I can honestly say that I was very wrong. I’m so happy to say that. I’m not going to say that it was a favorite that I will reread multiple times. It did give me warm feelings. I loved the blasts from the past as the story played out. It helped build intrigue!
Characters: I had to look through reviews to get the main character’s name. It’s a very unique name. We follow Neely and Seth. They grew up together until suddenly Neely is ripped from her home. Many years later they are reunited. But they aren’t as close as they once were.
Critiques: None
Narration: I give it a four-star rating. I really enjoyed it, but there’s nothing that really stands out to me as impressive. It definitely kept me engaged though.
Final Thoughts: This book is proof to me that you shouldn’t make hasty impulsive judgments about things. Not that that can be helped. I will also say that giving things a chance despite your judgement would be for the best. I almost lost out on a very beautiful story that spanned across four books because of it. I couldn’t recommend this more.
