Review:

Story: This story didn’t go where I was expecting it to go at all. I’m sure that is exactly what the author intended. I wasn’t expecting to get as invested into the story as I was. It’s intense and absolutely gripping. I also love the OCD representation. It’s not glamorized or glorified. The character goes through so much because of having OCD that developed after her mother died.
Characters: This story is told in three points of view. We have Skye who has been struggling with OCD since her mother passed away. She’s honestly my favorite character of the whole book. I just relate to her so much. Then we have Burke. He’s Skye’s fiance, but he’s got a secret. He’s leading a double life. The third point of view is Heather. The wife. It shows her in the past.
Critiques: None
Narration: I loved all three narrators. I was familiar with one already. I absolutely love her. She’s one of my favorites.
Final Thoughts: It’s been a while since I read this book, but it has really stuck with me. I didn’t think that it would be such an impacting story. I was wrong. This book will keep you guessing until the absolute end. It’s worth every page.

Review:

Story: I’m not even going to lie. It took me a bit to get into this story. Not because it was bad. It’s just there were many things that went over my head and caused me to have to restart the entire story. Once I got adapted to the scenery of the book, I completely loved it. It’s very quirky and just not something you see often.
Characters: The main character is called Thursday Next. She’s just a very amazing individual to me. There are many other characters in the book that were pretty amazing. I’m horrible with names though. Her dad popping in and out was pretty comical as well.
Critiques: None
Narration: The narrator’s accent made me feel like I was really part of the story. I felt like I was right there. It was beautiful.
Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed this story. I knew I would. My best friend recommended it to me. She’s not wrong when it comes to books. Actually, she gifted me the first four books in the series! That’s how much she loved it! I am now recommending it to you!

Review:

Story: I’ve really been in love with this entire series. I love that it puts me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Sometimes I feel like it goes too far. It’s so dark at times that it just doesn’t seem like things go far that it doesn’t seem like it will ever really be happy. Also, one of my favorite characters is no longer in the series now. So there’s that.
Characters: I feel like the characters just weren’t themselves in this one. Everybody was morose and just constantly down. I mean I get it. It was just very sad.
Critiques: BRING HER BACK!!! (A tongue and cheek critque)
Narration: Great as always.
Final Thoughts: It seems like this tale will never end sometimes. It’s not that I think the series is going on forever. It just seems like there are so many bad things that happen. I’d like to see some good. Please. Just please. I’ll be starting the next book soon.

Review:

Story: This book was much better than the first book. That says a lot because I really enjoyed the first very much. This one seemed more intense. It also focused more on the characters than the adventure. Which I liked. Not that the adventure wasn’t focused on. It was.
Characters: We still have Thursday Next. She’s married and it turns out she’s pregnant. Things are going so great for her until they aren’t!
Critiques: None
Narration: As brilliant as book one!
Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed this book very much. There were things that happened in it that blew my mind. I can’t wait to continue this series!

Review:

Story: Thursday has fled to the book world. Things haven’t gone her way in her world, and she finds herself in major trouble. Both legally and otherwise. Bad people are after her. She does what she can for herself and her unborn child.
Characters: I really loved many characters of some of my favorite stories being personified in this book. It was one of the quirkiest books in this series because of this. I definitely plan to reread this book a few times. Thursday Next is still my favorite character in the series.
Critiques: None
Narration: As wonderful as the first two books.
Final Thoughts: I never expected to become as addicted to this series as I’ve been. My dog even loves it. At least I assume he does. He plants himself next to me and my computer when I’m listening to it. He also gets a bit huffy when I pause it. I’m hoping this means that he’ll be open to relistening to it when I get ready to do so.

Review:

Story: This story follows a girl who enlists to become a concubine of a well-respected pilot. Her goal was to avenge her sister’s death. I don’t want to get into too much more because I don’t want to give too much of the book away. I will say that polyamory is a thing in this book, and I am so here for it! I really adore the main characters.
Characters: I can’t remember the characters. The secondary characters weren’t really connectable. The focus is on the main three. I can’t really say I connected with either of the three, but I really adored them. That’s something, right? I would have liked to see the other points of view just to see what was going through their mind.
Critiques: The second book isn’t out yet. And I don’t know when it will be out. They haven’t even named it yet.
Narration: Really captivating narrator. I enjoyed it very much.
Final Thoughts: I will definitely be reading this book again. It was so enjoyable. I only have an audiobook right now, but I think I’d like to own it in ebook or physical book eventually. It’s just such an amazing book. I really fully recommend it!!!!

I’d love to see your book reviews!
