Story: I found the take on this particular story in history very fascinating. I was very impressed with the paranormal aspect they threw in. I’ve been wanting to read this book for a very long time. I’m glad I finally got around to doing so. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.
Characters: I’m not completely wonderful with character names, but I’ll do my best. First, we have Edward. he’s very introverted. He also doesn’t really seem to pay attention to what’s going on around him. Jane was a pretty amazing character as well. I related to her in some ways, but not in others. Maybe I’d of been more like her had I been around during that time. Then there’s G and Edward’s love interest that were pretty amazing. All of the characters had their own quirks and wit. I absolutely loved it.
Critiques: None
Narration: Really amazing. I was so enamored with the accent!
Final Thoughts: I took forever to get to this book. I’m sad about that. However, I’m very happy I took the time to read it. I am definitely reading this again and I’m definitely reading the rest of the books!

Story: This story was so unique. Nina goes home to find somebody snooping through her things. The conversation that they have changed everything for her forever. As if that isn’t enough, she finds herself in danger that gets more serious as the days pass. Warning: Cliffhanger alert!
Characters: I really adore Nina. She’s so fierce and loyal. She’s definitely book girlfriend material. Ryker is pretty amazing too, but he can be pretty sexist at times. My absolute favorite character of this book has been Ryker’s sister. I believe her name is Leigh. She’s just so quirky! I want to see more of her!
Critiques: None
Narration: N/A
Final Thoughts: I really need the second book in my hands asap! I would have devoured this book in one sitting if I had the chance. I fully recommend this!

Summer has plans to go to an event with her friends. It’s supposed to be a normal night in a normal town, but it ends in disaster. While Summer is searching for a friend who has stormed off after a fight with her boyfriend, she gets kidnapped by a deranged man who won’t stop calling her Lilly. She discovers that she is not the first girl he’s kidnapped. Can her and the other girls be found before it’s too late? Or are they forced to spend their lives in the cellar of a creepy psycho?

I really enjoyed this book! It was wonderfully written. It definitely kept me on edge for many parts of it. For any crime show fans, it was like reading one of them. There are multiple points of view. I didn’t find that distracting at all. In fact, I felt it gave more intensity to the book. I especially loved reading the kidnapper’s points of views. i stumbled upon this book when I was searching a sale after my birthday. I’m glad I did. I’ll be looking into other books by this author. I loved it and I fully recommend it!

Date Finished: September 2nd

Story: I really enjoyed this story very much. I enjoyed the first two books as well. All of them, including this one, have ended on cliffhangers. The fourth book is not out on audio yet. I will definitely be getting it when it is. I’m that hooked on this series.
Characters: I’ve listened to this audiobook, so I’m a little hesitant about misspelling the names. Especially the unique names. There are a few unique names in this series. I’m so here for it. I would have liked to seen a little more in each perspective as things went on.
Critiques: The only thing I have a small issue with was that there was some dramatic build-up that wound up falling flat. I feel like it had a lot of potential that just didn’t get met.
Narration: I give the narrators 10 out of 5 stars. They all did amazing. I enjoyed the story even more because of their performance.
Final Thoughts: I really need to finish this series. I’m so obsessed and want to find out what happens next. I want to know what happened with the sister! It’s great!
