This was a very cute and quirky novel. I really adored it. It’s one of those rare events where a major scene plays out then it goes back in time to tell the story of events leading up to that event. It’s kind of a spoiler, but it’s a refreshing change to normal story methods. The only problem I had was there was a small conflict that seemed to have taken a head, but there was no real resolution. It seemed to have just completely disappeared. It was a little annoying, but it was nothing major.

Other than the “I’m not going to tell you about something I think about you even though it’s not true” bull, this was a pretty interesting read. I was also really enjoyed the full glimpse into the life of Blue. Not just her life in school like you get with most of these. I mean most fo them take place in the rich people’s world completely. The mother got a job as a live-in housemaid or something. Blue still lives where she’s always lived. Just got a scholarship to a school that will help her future. I do have to warn that this ends on a pretty intense cliffhanger.

I really enjoyed this book. It was short and sweet and so adorable! I normally don’t like holiday-themed books. At least not when it comes to romances. They are just so cheesy and predictable. This one is way different. I wanted to reach out to people and gush about the book! I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. This is an amazing author who is amazing with descriptions and words.
