I don’t know if anybody else has made this a thing. I also don’t know if anybody else will do this with me. If not, it’s completely fine. It’s something I want to do every week. I’m going to think of at least one thing I’m thankful for for the week. I’ll try to do up to four a week, but at least one. I think this will be very therapeutic. We shall see in time.
Note: There may be some things that get repeated now and then. My intention is to talk about things I’m thankful for that week. So some things may pop up a few times. I’m not attempting to be redundant or repetitive. Just trying to be genuine.
- Alone Time. Don’t get me wrong. I love spending time with all those that I care about. I really do. I just really crave alone time so that I can recharge and reflect on things. There are things that I like to hold to reflect on later so that I don’t overreact or come off as crazy. Alone time helps with those reflections.
- Self Care. This may seem like a no brainer to most people. I constantly battle depression though. Sometimes its’ a great feat to care about anything self care related. Recently I got a bunch of self care items. I got shower bombs (Those are a thing!!!!), body washes, lotions, body sprays, etc. It’s made me feel really beautiful.
- Lists. I have finally sat down and made lists on things I need to do. Mainly just list of all the books I need to read. The organization really helps. I have this thing where I kind of freak out when I finish a book because I don’t know what exactly to read next. Making lists help. So much.
- Job Hunting. I have been able to job hunt. Most of the jobs I have applied for won’t be started until August. Which is really perfect for me. That’s when I’ll be heading home. I’ve already gotten two rejections. It’s okay though. The point is that I’m able to try. Hopefully I’ll have some luck soon!
