It was like I was inside a fishbowl in the middle of a typhoon, and everyone else was on the outside cluelessly enjoying lovely weather.

This one really hit me hard. It’s stuck with me since I first read it. To me, this is what having depression, anxiety, and PTSD feels like.

A big, studly football jock like me? I got plenty of blood to spare. For you, I have anything to spare.

Heath is one of my favorite characters of all time! He’s just so adorakable! And yes. I said that right.

Parents day did not go well for Zoey thanks to her stepfather showing up and being his usual self.

Remember, darkness does not always equate to evil, just as light does not always bring good.

This was also in the first book. It’s a very powerful statement if you think about it. Interpret it as you will.
