Saturday Star: Lorelei from the Shadows Ascending trilogy.

Lorelei is this paranormal being who’s mother dies when she’s young. Wanting to protect her from harm, her uncle has her memories erased and has her put into the human world where she winds up in foster care. Despite everything she’s been through, she still has a compassionate heart. That doesn’t mean she’s a pushover, though. She’s feisty as hell and won’t take anything from anyone. She’s an inspiration that I adore very much. I have already read the first two books and can’t wait to read the third.
