I don’t know if anybody else has made this a thing. I also don’t know if anybody else will do this with me. If not, it’s completely fine. It’s something I want to do every week. I’m going to think of at least one thing I’m thankful for for the week. I’ll try to do up to four a week, but at least one. I think this will be very therapeutic. We shall see in time.
Note: There may be some things that get repeated now and then. My intention is to talk about things I’m thankful for that week. So some things may pop up a few times. I’m not attempting to be redundant or repetitive. Just trying to be genuine.
- I’m thankful that my group (The Introverted Readathoner) seems to be growing. It’s a group of us who love readathons. We all take turns hosting low key readathons now and then when we need a bit of a push. All are welcome.
- I’m thankful to have the time to get caught up on things I let go over the past few months. Including reading. While I am sad that I lost my job and that I won’t be able to start my new job until February 17th, I’m happy for the down time this gives me.
- I’m thankful to have time to spend with my family. We’ve had a lot of funny moments around here. It’s been very therapeutic.
- I’m thankful for my Goodreads group that meets several times a week. I know that because of them, I will at least allow myself to actually read a book at least an hour a day. With all I try to cram in my day, I usually listen to audio. Sometimes I miss just sitting and reading. This helps so much.
