Books I Bought/Borrowed Because…

My choice: Book Series I Bought On Impulse Without Thinking Twice

1. The House Of Night

I stalked this series for a long time before I caved. I think there were four books out when I finally splurged and bought them all. I immediately picked up every single book in the series thereafter the moment it was released.

2. Stalking Jack The Ripper

I found out that my library had all four of these books and immediately placed a hold on them. I wound up buying all of them in audio later. It’s a wonderful series.

3. Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children

Once I saw the preview to the movie for this series, I bought all three books. I got the fourth book when it was released and the fifth book when it was released as well. I have them all in audio and a physical copy of the first four. I need to get a physical copy of the fifth. Funny story, I actually bought the physical copies on Thrift Books and one is a library book. Mom asks me if I need to turn in library books every time she sees it.

4. Vampire Academy

I discovered this series when I was stalking House Of Night. I fell in love with the covers and the blurb. I can’t remember how many were out when I bought them. They were a huge impulse buy for me though. I wanted the entire series yesterday.

5. Bloodlines

The moment I found out who the main character of this spin off series I had to have them all. I know I shouldn’t count this because of Vampire Academy, but I can’t help it.

6. Dorothy Must Die

I saw a video by Epic Reads about this series. I fell in love. At the time, I was subscribed to Scribd (I personally don’t recommend, but I digress). I was so happy to find that they were all there. I jumped at the chance and grabbed them all. Later, I wound up buying physical copies of the series plus the novellas.

7. Lunar Chronicles

I don’t even remember how I discovered these anymore. I just know the moment I saw them I had to have them.

8. Hush, Hush

I found these in a BOGO deal. I was so happy! I’d had my eye on the series for awhile.

9. Asylum

I got this series at the same BOGO sale that I got Hush, Hush. I’d never heard of these before but they screamed out at me.

10. Castle

The moment I found out that there were actual books for this, I HAD to have them!!! I believe I watched almost every single episode of Castle. I loved that show!

I know that technically speaking, not all these are the true definition of impulse buys as I was not able to buy them immediately. However, the moment I saw them, I knew I’d own them. My gut screamed out at me that I will love them. I’ve never been wrong listening to that feeling.
