I’m excited to start this series out with one of my newer favorite characters. Thomas Cresswell. He’s an intelligent young man who drives Audrey Rose mad with his bold behavior and wit. He’s also fiercely loyal and protective of those he cares about. He may pester them to no end, but he will not stand for anybody upsetting them. That’s just in his nature.

In the first book, we are introduced to Cresswell. I mean, obviously. It’s not like we could have possibly met him before that. There’s a time period in which Audrey Rose considers the possibility that he is the suspect. In book two, we see his compassionate and caring side as well as his witticism. We can’t forget about book three. He’s completely smitten by Audrey Rose. He trusts her completely, but he’s human. He gets jealous. It’s absolutely adorable!

One thing about me is that I’m a sucker for a sarcastic character. The more sarcastic characters in a book the better. I could name a few examples, but I would be afraid of retracting from my point of this blog. I’ll try to make a list of characters to bring up in the future.
