Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This Week: Changes In My Reading Life
Where do I begin? I’m not sure I can do this in a top ten format. I will try though. I have a lot of changes in my reading.
1. The amount of reading I do. I used to average about 50-60 books a year. I now read about 100 books a year. I am currently at 173 books this year. This is by far the biggest amount I’ve done ever. I’m quite proud of it.
2. Audiobooks. I feel that listening to audiobooks has really increased my reading. I’m able to read during times I couldn’t actually read now. Like when working out, cleaning, scrolling the web, playing games, etc. It has been so freeing. It’s also made me contemplate becoming a narrator myself.
3. Variety. I used to only read Young Adult fiction. I didn’t have a problem with other genres. I just stuck to what I knew. I also had a big tendency to reread other books rather than read new books. I read a variety of genres now. And I’m getting more comfortable with it every day.
4. My Reading Circle. I find that as time goes by, my reading circle expands. I talk to more and more people in the reading world. It’s amazing. I have attended a convention called Literary Love of Savannah this year and last. I can’t tell you how incredible it was. I’m going to be going next year as well.
I can’t think of anything else. These are the most important to me as it is. I may come back to this later and edit it, but I think these are good for now. I love reading. I love talking about books. I love being around others who love reading. Please feel free to show me your top ten! I’d love to see them all!
